NFC stands for near-field communication, and it allows for wireless communication between a chip and your phone. Most new phones are equipped with this technology. We put the chip on our bottles at the winery, so we can ensure that this wine was bottled by us and gives you an additional layer of security for this bottle.

You need a smartphone equipped with NFC technology to scan the bottle. iPhones that are model iPhone X or newer, and most Androids are equipped with NFC technology.

Scanning your bottle tells you two things. 1) It ensures the protection of your bottle, that it has not been tampered with and 2) it allows you to unlock exclusive content about each bottle, like behind-the-scenes videos from our winemaker and our vineyard team telling you all about what’s in the bottle.
